A life worthy of freedom

Share:

At @voiceofthe2nd I pursue and celebrate freedom because it has a purpose. That purpose is to live a good life toward a moral authority larger than govt, mob, or neighbor. That’s what freedom is for.

If we celebrate freedom for its own sake, for the sake of protecting moral pollution and decay, we’ve missed the point. Freedom for its own sake will later become tyranny for it had no goodness to support its purpose. That’s why I talk about grounding freedom, goodness, and rights in real transcendent, Permanent Things. I try to live a life worthy of freedom.
